American College for Advancement
in Medicine (ACAM)
The use of EDTA chelation therapy for cardiovascular disease remains quite controversial
and is generally not subscribed to by most physicians in the United States or by major
medical organizations, such as the AMA and the American Heart Association.
Their position is that this treatment is “unproven” for the above mentioned conditions.
However, a national medical association known as ACAM (American College for Advancement in Medicine)
has sponsored educational seminars and conferences for physicians on the use of EDTA chelation
therapy for the treatment of cardiovascular disorders since 1974. It has established a protocol
for the safe and effective administration of EDTA. Many of its members have been certified
in the use of chelation therapy by the American Board of Chelation Therapy
Autism Research Institute

Website containing information about all things "healthy". It provides a comprehensive website on CAM, including
health topics that can researched and information about practitioners and
organizations.
Juice Plus
The Schachter Center recommends juicing of organic fresh fruits and
vegetables. However, when there is no time to juice, this company provides
convenient encapsulated vegetable and fruit "juice" supplements.
Their supplements are also heavily researched.
Dr. Mercola
Informational website of Joseph Mercola, MD with high quality information about natural
approaches to health. One can sign up to receive an e-mailed daily newsletter, with video
interviews and referenced information. One can do searches for topics of interest.
Alternative Medicine
The purpose of this website is to provide information from the entire world of
alternative medicine in a form that can be easily understood and that can be
used to improve one’s health and enhance quality of your life. Information on
any health condition, therapy, or product can be searched from their large
database. Much of the material comes from the clinical experience of thousands

The Cancer Awareness Research Exchange
is a local, non-profit support and information organization formed to help people
